During my stay at Calypso Hotel Blackpool, I appreciated the warm ambience and lovely decor throughout the hotel. The staff were very attentive and accommodating, making my experience comfortable and enjoyable, especially as a senior traveler. 

The friendliness and location of the hotel

Because we were on the ist floor facing main road, it was extremely noisy with the traffic and late night partiers. And the seagulls (not a lot anybody can do about them though). Saying that other members of our party that was located in other parts of the hotel did not have the same problem.

As soon as you entre this hotel you are made to feel like a friend, the staff are simply brilliant, friendly and welcoming and accomadating, my weekend away went a bit pear shaped but the staff were always 

The large swimming pool is great for relaxing, and the beach nearby has stunning views.

embarrassing issues with cleanliness.

I used this hotel due to working at the winter gardens for the weekend, very close to all that you need or want, staff are hospitable and very helpful.A great family stay.The manager Andy was extremley welcoming and accommadating 

the staff were super friendly and helpful, especially robert at the reception. our room was clean and comfy, exactly what we needed for a short stay. the food in the restaurant was delicious, way better than expected. great 

Check-in was a bit chaotic with the food smelling off, but the staff were friendly and upgraded our room after the first one felt awful. The overall cleanliness could improve, but the breakfast was decent, and the location was handy for attractions.

Went to calypso for hen weekend,Andy is fab he looked after us so well cant wait to go back would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The bathroom wasn't cleaned properly during our stay.

staff were all very warm, welcoming and could not wait to help, its a lovley quiet place, my fiance and i are not much for going out drinking so we sat in and played the darts and 

Friendly staff on arrival, and throughout the stay. Nice breakfast and comfy bed.

The lack of free VIP wristbands was disappointing and there wasn't any entertainment on during our stay as the hotel didn't have many guests at the time. Possibly the website needs to be updated to reflect entertainment not always guaranteed. Nothing too much in essence to complain about though.

staff were very helpful n pleasant, great value for money, room was clean n comfy. also had a lovely indian restaurant downstairs, and the location was awesome for local shops n attractions.

the bathroom needed some shelves n furniture was kind of old, noise on sat night was a bit much.

The staff was nice an friendly. Open all night.

The room could maybe have been tidied during the stay.
